At the beginning of the year, I wrote about my 2019 goals and resolutions. Due to the surprising response that I have received on that blog post, I decided to write a follow-up, 5 things I will leave in the past.
As I continue to focus and grow, I have identified 5 things that I need to work on leaving in 2018. For me to be successful, these are things that have prevented me from taking the necessary steps to achieving my dreams. I have struggled with each one and hope to do less of each in 2019.
So long 2018, don’t let the door hit you on the way out. It’s a New Year! There are 12 new chapters and 365 new chances. I am going to do my absolute best to write a great book.
2018 was a roller coaster year. Personally, a lot of great things happened. We went to our first Brewers On-Deck and my son got an autograph and a picture taken with his favorite Brewers baseball player, Orlando Arcia. He was in heaven, and it was such a great experience to enjoy as a family. We went to Disney World as a family. It was my wife’s and sons’ first trip there. I was last there when I was a kid. It was such a magical time. There were so many memories that were made during that one week trip. We witnessed our son grow academically in his first full day school year, which was incredible to see. We also got really involved in the school which made the experience that much better.
